We record your waiver and new skills so you won’t need to do it every time if you decide to climb with us regularly.
Getting Started
Do I need to book?
No — drop in anytime during opening hours. Bookings are only needed for groups of more than 10 climbers, parties, events, lessons, Kids Squad, and outdoor sessions.
I've never climbed before. Is that OK?
Yes. First-time climbers get a free induction covering gear, belaying, auto-belays, and safety. Beginner routes and bouldering are available with no experience required.
What happens on my first visit?
- Fill in a waiver (one per person — print ahead or complete on arrival).
- Get a short briefing on harnesses, clipping in, and belaying.
- Climb with staff nearby if you need help.
Your waiver and skills are recorded so you don’t have to repeat the full process every visit.

What’s On Offer
What can I do at the gym?
Bouldering, top-rope climbing, auto-belays, a training zone, a caving system, lessons, Kids Squad, birthday parties, group events, and outdoor guided climbing around Nowra.
What’s the difference between bouldering and top rope?
Bouldering is lower climbing over soft mats — no ropes or harness. Top rope uses a harness and rope so you climb higher with a belayer (or an auto-belay if you’re solo).
Do you have auto-belays?
Yes — three walls with auto-belays, ideal for solo climbers or parents with younger kids.
What’s the caving system?
A ~35 metre caving system built into the walls. Glow stick / caving entry is $2.
What’s in the Training Zone?
A 40° spray wall (~15 m²), campus board, hangboards, chin-up bars, rings, weight vests, and more. Included with casual entry, memberships, and bouldering-only entry. Open to customers 16+ (or Kids Squad members). Problems are also on the Stokt Climbing app.
Ages, Kids & Families
How old do kids need to be?
Kids from 4 years old are welcome for climbing. Kids Squad starts from about 9 years.
What is Kids Squad?
A weekly term program focused on technique, belaying, safety, strength, and fun.
- Green Diamond (≈9–11): Mon/Fri 4–5pm — $150/term
- Orange Diamond (12+ or experienced younger): Mon/Fri 5:15–6:15pm — $150/term
- Red Diamond (advanced, by invitation): Thu 4:30–5:30pm — $186/term
Includes equipment hire, entry, and instructor supervision. Active Kids vouchers accepted. Outdoor days (~$60–$70) may apply for Orange/Red.
What should we wear / bring?
Light, comfortable clothes (avoid very short shorts and crop tops for climbing), a drink bottle, and socks (required with hire shoes). Climbing shoes are recommended for better footholds but joggers are fine to start.
